whitish, broadly convex in only specimen available; margin
nonstriate and appendiculate (in narrow continuous white
band; universal veil as small thin grayish fragments mostly
densely distributed but occasionally absent in some patches,
possibly from a friable inner surface of the limbate volva.
lamellae
close, at maturity, cream in side view
and yellow-orange in mass.
stipe
White or whitish; context white,
unstaining; partial veil white, apparently
membranous, apical, strongly striate on upper surface,
somewhat thickened in available material; bulb
subspherical, with diameter about one-third length of
stipe above it; universal veil white probably
appressed to bulb, with
substantial membranous limbs extending up stipe.
